Privacy Policy

Faslo (“we”, “the app”) is a price-comparison app for stores in Georgia. We built it to save you money, not to collect your data. This policy explains, in plain language, what we do and don’t collect.

The short version: no account is required, your favourites and shopping list stay on your device, we don’t sell your data, and the prices you see are gathered from stores’ own public websites.

1. Information we collect

On-device preferences. Your selected stores, shopping list, favourites, language and theme are stored locally on your device (in the app’s storage). They are not tied to an account and are not sent to us unless a feature explicitly syncs them.
Approximate location (optional). If you grant permission, we use your device location to show the nearest store branches and distances. Location is used on-device to compute distances and is not stored on our servers or shared. You can decline it and still use the app.
Basic, aggregated analytics. We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. which screens are opened, crash reports) to improve the app. These do not identify you personally.
Notifications (optional). If you enable price-drop alerts, your device may register for push notifications. You can turn this off anytime in settings.

2. What we do NOT collect

We do not require or create user accounts, names, or passwords.
We do not collect payment information — Faslo does not process purchases.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

3. Where prices come from

Product names, images and prices shown in the app are collected from the public websites of the respective store chains and are provided for comparison purposes. Prices are updated regularly but may differ from the price on the shelf, which depends on each chain’s pricing policy. Store names and logos belong to their respective owners.

4. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to run the app:

App distribution — Apple App Store and Google Play, subject to their own privacy policies.
Maps — the device’s native map service to display store locations.
Hosting — cloud hosting for our backend that serves product and price data.

5. Data retention

On-device data remains until you delete it (via “Restart setup” in the app, or by uninstalling). Aggregated analytics are retained only as long as needed to improve the service.

6. Children

Faslo is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. Some content (e.g. the alcohol category) is intended for users of legal age.

7. Your choices

Decline or revoke location and notification permissions in your device settings at any time.
Clear all local data using “Restart setup” inside the app.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
